Questions and Answers

Question: Do you offer the same oral appliance to everyone? I’m worried that if there’s just one or a few universal appliances that it isn’t going to be very comfortable.

Answer: No! We provide custom-made appliances because everyone’s mouth is very unique. The goal is not only to gently adjust your jaw for improved breathing but also to ensure you enjoy a wonderful fit and experience.

Question: I only know at this point that I have sleep apnea because of symptoms but I don’t remember it happening. How will I be able to tell if the oral appliance therapy is successful or if I need to try some other type of solution, so I can sleep through the night?

Answer: You will generally know by the way that you begin to feel (which will be much better). Our team will also check in with you to monitor your progress.

Question: What if I try an oral appliance but there’s something about it that I don’t really like? Do you offer just one type of appliance?

Answer: We don’t offer just one! We offer a variety of options, brands, styles, etc. We will very carefully select the appliance that appears to be best suited for your needs, so it effectively treats your sleep apnea. Remember that the appliances are customized, as well, to fit your mouth. However, of course, should you have any concerns, we will be happy to meet with you to ensure you feel comfortable with your treatment!
